What a great activity! I would also pair this with when I use Eric Carle's other great spring books - Hungry Caterpillar and the Grouchy Ladybug. Thanks!

I always do a unit with The Very Hungry Caterpillar in the spring and this would go great with that!

Thanks y'all for the comments! I love to read them. Angie I am sure glad it is SPRING as well, I just wish mother nature would get it together here in Oklahoma...Love the ideas of using this with Eric Carle books...just another extension activity..It is great for getting kids with more severe impairments involved in reading and writing.

I have just started using book companions with my clients! They LOVE them! Most are familiar with Eric Carle books so this would be a great addition to our therapy sessions!
