Hey Y'all, here is my newest activity I have been using with my kids in speech therapy. It would work great in small group or even in literacy centers.
In the product you get the pages and instructions on how to make your own adapted book, and sequencing cards, syllable counting cards, and some vocabulary matching cards

I always do a unit with The Very Hungry Caterpillar in the spring and this would go great with that!
I would use this with my Spring theme with my preschool and K students.

Angie I am sure glad it is SPRING as well, I just wish mother nature would get it together here in Oklahoma...Love the ideas of using this with Eric Carle books...just another extension activity..It is great for getting kids with more severe impairments involved in reading and writing.
I have just started using book companions with my clients! They LOVE them! Most are familiar with Eric Carle books so this would be a great addition to our therapy sessions!
